NSW: Designer perfumes stolen from Sydney warehouse
SYDNEY, Aug 3 AAP - Designer perfumes and aftershaves have been stolen from a south
Sydney warehouse, police said today.
Detective Senior Constable Peter Koudounas said the robbery occurred between July 28
and July 31 from a Rosebery warehouse.
The thieves gained access to the warehouse by cutting a hole in the roof, he said.
"The designer label fragrances include perfume by Issey Miyake, Ferragamo and after
shave by Romeo Gigli and Jean Paul Gaultier," Snr Const Koudounas said in a statement.
"The Jean Paul Gaultier after shave has not yet been released in Australia.
"Each bottle is in the distinctive male torso shape but it is covered with a unique
black shock proof jacket."
Police have urged anyone offered the perfumes at cheaper than normal prices to contact them.
Police could not estimate the value of the stolen goods.
